Buddy Reading - With Hoani

IALT:Help my buddy with mistakes.

Today after lunch which was 1:40 or 1:45 Room 9 had Buddy Reading with room 3 and my buddy was Hoani because my other buddy went to room 4.What I really enjoyed was looking at my buddy reading faster then before.In the beginning was a little slow in reading which was term 1 but now he is faster and he is improving his reading.Hoani is a really great buddy reader and he actually looks brainy and smart and that why I call him smart looking guy.Tomorrow at Tuakana Teina day I am going to look forward with his reading and I am going to look how fast he can read and if he makes any mistakes because he made a few and then I helped him and now he knows.

Google hit with $3.7 billion fine!!!

OMG!!! Google has had a 3.7 billion fine I just cannot believe that is so shocking.Internet giant Google has been fined a record €2.42 billion (NZ$3.7 billion) by the European Union after a seven-year investigation into allegations it was abusing its monopoly over internet searches.

The huge fine has been handed out over the company’s breaking of an EU competition law. Prosecutors argued that Google was using its dominant search engine force to promote its online shopping service ahead of others.

OMG I am so shocked about this because 3.7 billion dollars is so so so much money and that is so heart breaking and I am pretty sure Google is shock too because that is alot of money.

Mother and daughter bashed over 'cold' fried chicken in Georgia

IALT:Find out what happen to the Mum and daughter when they got smash

Today I was so terrified and so shocked because A mother and her daughter have got bashed up from 2 people because I think they were trying to still cold Fried Chicken.A mother and daughter suffered broken bones and black eyes after being brutally attacked at their family restaurant in the US when two customers complained that their fried chicken was cold.The fight started outside the Georgia restaurant when two assailants attacked owner Jeanette Norris, breaking her nose. 

When her 15-year-old daughter tried to help her mum, the male assailant punched her in the face.This was so sad because both of them end up in black eyes and broken bones just because of the 2 people.I think the daughter had a black eye from this man that straight punched her in the eye and she straight fell to the floor.What I think about this is that this is so sad for what happen.

Golden Bay springs gets water protection order.

Today I was reading about the Golden Bay springs gets water protection order. And that Te Waikoropupu Springs are located in Golden Bay,and it is near Nelson. And they are a hottest spot for tourists, and they are thought to be some of the cleanest and clearest water in New Zealand.  

The Springs will have the highest possible protection for a water body – a Water Conservation Order which is short way is Wco.  The Government says WCOs are the equivalent of National Park status for a water body. There are currently 15 WCOs in New Zealand – 13 rivers and two lakes. This is the first application for a springs.This is a great fact about the Golden Bay that is near Nelson. I really enjoyed reading this.

Man balances lawn mower on chin

IALT:Explain about this man balancing on his chin.

OMG A Man has balance a Lawn Mower on his chin.Pushing a running electric lawnmower for 71 metres is not a difficult thing to do, but try doing that distance not pushing it, but balancing it on your chin.There is person that is a New York Ashrita Furman that have broke his existing Guinness World Record for the farthest distance walked balancing a powered lawnmower on the chin.

This is so hard for what he did I cant believe that he balanced a Lawn Mower on his chin.That is impossible and actually a lawn mower is so heavy that its heavier than me.I am so shocked and amazed about what he did with the lawn mower.

Yesterday on the 27th of june which was on a Tuesday room 9 had cybersmart on 10.am and our teacher that helped us was Miss Shearing and she came in to our classroom to talk about Quality blogpost and what are Quality blogpost has is?Images,Relevant Labels,Tile,DLO.And heaps more but I forgot mostly all of it.So we made a Google Drawing And we had to put all the facts we had in it and we had to put colors that is not dark.So the colour I did Was Aqua and Orange.What I was stuck on was remembering the words that Quality Blogpost has.So we worked on it and I didn finish it all so I managed to finished it today.

IALT:Communicate with my team to play the game

Yesterday we had Kiwi can and our teacher was Mr Malu.And our first activity was this game but I forgot the name for it so I called it fish in the bucket.The instruction for the game that each team has two fishes each and we had aim it to the bucket.The challenges I had was aiming to the bucket and the other challenges was shooting it in but I still managed to get 1 in.What I didn't really like was making are group chart because my team didn't have  any Ideas but only one it was very short.I enjoyed communicating with my team to get the fish in and making them happy.What we were talking about after the 2 Activities were Responsibility and Reliability and Reliability means trusting on that person.Our other activity was relay and rugby so we went outside to played relays first so after relays we did rugby league because rugby league is my favorite sport but I play Union for a club.We played rugby until the bell rang and then we went up to class and got ready to go lunch.

Today I was on kiwi kids news again and I heard that Team New Zealand have claimed the 35th America’s Cup regatta with a comprehensive 7-1 victory over Oracle USA.New Zealand were too strong for Oracle in the final race this morning, defeating the American team by 27 seconds to bring home the Auld Mug.

This is a really good fact that they have won for the America's Cup.This is a fun fact that they have won against USA.The only game that I watch was the other team and USA have won that game but their other team have won against USA and now New Zealand have won against them for the America's Cup.

Today I was on kiwi kids news and I was shocked about sea pickles that have hit US coast.And a rare, tiny marine creature known as the unicorn of the sea has swarmed in its millions on the west coast of America, ruining fishermen’s nets.

Scientists are baffled as little is known about these creatures.

Fishers along the west coast have told researchers that in some places they are unable to catch anything because the creatures are forming clusters that are so dense and tightly packed.This might be a little scary because if they stand on 1 it might hurt .

World’s most ugly dog named

Today I have found out that this dog had the world's ugly name.A gentle giant Dog called Martha has been crowned the winner of the 29th annual World’s Ugliest Dog Contest.The Neapolitan Mastiff was a favorite of the Northern California crowd from the start. 

She seemed to play up to the crowd, often plopping down on her side on stage with her droopy face spread across the ground.As the winning dog she went away $1,500, a flashy trophy and a trip to New York for media appearances.Martha was rescued when she was nearly blind, but after several surgeries can see again, according to her handler Shirley Zindler.

This is pretty sad for saying that is a really ugly name but Martha is a algood name.But I think it is kind if say because he was rescued and he was nearly blind and they said that he had a ugly name. 

Man visits Disneyland for 2000 days in a row

Today there was a man that have meet disneyland for 2000 days in a row.One man has visited Disney’s California theme park 2000 days in a row! Disney is used to adoring fans but Jeff Reitz has taken his fan status to a whole new level.He marked the milestone on Thursday, using his Disneyland Resort annual pass which had enabled his trek to the park on a daily basis since January 1, 2012.

This is really cool for what he has been doing because he will know every program what happening.But it's like a he is spying on people.This is a really shocked fact because he have been visiting disneyland for 2000 days in a row.

Today on kiwi kids there was a serious warning for kids that's under age 13 because something can happen.Snapchat has updated its location sharing information and experts have said this could be dangerous for young people.This week Snapchat announced its update called Snap Map which allows users to broadcast their location to their friends on the app.

Netsafe NZ have had a issued about warnings saying that the new location sharing update on the popular social media app Snapchat can be dangerous for young kids or people that is under age 13.Snapchat can be so dangerous for kids that is age under 13 because people can hack their account and do something rude or kidnap them by their photo's they're taking at places.

Today after lunch we had buddy reading and my buddy wasn't here so the teacher that is in that class room which is Whaea Sally wanted me to be with another buddy so my new buddy was Kitione.Whaea Sally wanted me to be with him so I can speak tongan to him so I went with him and he was funny because he was only speaking tongan.He wanted me to read to him but I said no because he needed more confident.So I was reading with him and he actually done well.I can not wait when I be with him for long reading.I really enjoyed being with him.The only thing that is cool that he is from a Village called Longoteme and my dad is sister's husband is longoteme.I am looking forward to be with him and I am really looking forward to the mistake he did today and he is trying to not have that much mistakes.

Today I was on Kiwi kids news and I was reading this article and then it found interesting and so I wanted to blog it.So Afghanistan and Ireland will join the ranks of full test-playing nations after receiving the backing of the International Cricket Council’s conference.The body said it had voted to admit the two nations into the elite group that is permitted to play traditional five-day test matches.As new full members of the ICC, Ireland and Afghanistan will take the total of countries playing tests to 12.

This is a really good article about Afghanistan and Ireland versing each other I am so excited to find out who is going to win.Afghanistan is a great team at cricket even Ireland so I think it is going to be a tricky game.

New road in China causing problems

IALT:Explain what happen to the China road.

Today I heard that there was a problem about the new road at China. When I was looking at the picture of the New road it looked dangerous because if there is a car crash a accident can happen and people can die. A new motorway in China is driving people crazy as they get lost in a maze of roads.

 The amazing interchange has five suspended levels and cars going in all directions. After eight years of construction, the interchange was completed last week on the outskirts of Chongqing, a large city in southwest China.The new structure has five layers of traffic, with the highest 37 metres above ground.This is so cool but dangerous because accident might happen when people argue.

Why is Spiritual Health important to you?Spiritual is important to me because I love reading the gospel and I love going church with my family on sundays.The church I go to is St Patrick's Panmure.I really love that church because I have already have Holy Communion and Confirmation.

If you dont know those 2 things it is when you are allowed to drink the Blood of god and eat the Body of Christ but it not real blood and body it is blessed Wine and Blessed Bread but the bread is not the same and the Crackers and Soft bread.And Spiritual Health is important to me because I like response psalm at church because it really helps me with my learning about god.

Man jailed for 35 years for Facebook post

I reckon that it's so bad and so dumb to post thing about your  family or Royal family.The thing that is really bad is  that he is in Jail because  he might be kept on posting bad stuff and stuff that kids should not see on facebook.And the Thai man the Thai man he has got told that he is in jail for 35 years on Friday for Facebook posts deemed insulting to the royal family.

It is one of the harshest sentences handed down for the crime of insulting the monarchy.Laws in Thailand prevent people from criticising the ultra-rich monarchy.

The Bangkok military court convicted the 34-year-old on ten counts.The court punished him with seven years per count. Altogether he was given 70 years, but it was reduced in half because he confessed.I think and I know that person knows better than that but because he did that now he is in jail for 35 years.

Today I was on Newshub and I saw this scary and sad news about Moms Suicide. Victim slams Government prevention plan as 'spineless' and it was not great news because there are lots of death  and the amongst is 184.95 what I don't like is that there are 184.95 that have past away and that bad feeling.

And  seven years ago, Patrice Harris's son Brad had turned up at Dunedin Hospital for emergency department and told them he was planning to take his own life.  He was sent home and two days later, he was dead.   Her son's suicide inspired Ms Harrex to become a mental health worker and today, she delivered a Public Service Associations submission on the Government's Suicide Prevention Strategy.  And she called it spineless.

Man get runned over from a car for hitting the car with a Branch.

Today there was a man that got runned over but he was lucky to escape serious injury after the brutal crash in Hervey Bay.This was so serious because the person that got runned over was the one that started because he whacked the branch on the car.So I think the person on the car got angry and he ran him over.

The lucky thing was that he just moved when he was about to crash him but I think he ran over his leg.This is really bad and it can even cause death or injury.And I think he is in hospital and lucky he is still alive.But I am still worry of why he whacked the car for.

Today I was so terrified because a 14-year-old girl slipped off from her  seat on a gondola ride at a US theme park has had a lucky break after patrons quickly banded together to create a human cushion for her to land on.The unbelievable moment took place on Saturday night while she was on the Sky Ride at Six Flags Amusement Park in New York.

She was so lucky that there was heaps of mens that catched her when she slipped I was so amazed about what the mens did for her because if there was no one there she would of died because it was 25 foot tall or she would of broke her bones.She is so lucky that she got catched from mens and that is good for what the mens have done.

Today I picked a article that I have read about and I pick this article because I was shocked that is was the SHortest day.This is the shortest day of the year for the Southern Hemisphere, otherwise known as Winter Solstice.Winter Solstice is scheduled to occur at 4.24pm today, when the sun’s position in the sky reaches its farthest point north of the Equator. 

It means today will have the least amount of daylight of any day for the year.I am very shocked and sad because people might want to go outside and play but it is going to be dark fast.When I heard about this I was so terrified because I think those people were thinking that this was there worses day.So I think it was just like around 12 pm and it was so so dark.

World largest haka record broken

Today I was on Kiwi kids news and I saw this amazing article and it was called World largest Haka record broken.There was 7700 people have broken the world record for the largest haka.The official world record was held by France since 2014, when 4028 people took part. That record was beaten last year in Masterton by a 6000-person haka, though the achievement hasn’t been officially ratified.

This is so so cool people 7700 people performed a massive haka and now it is going viral and it actually is the new world record.I am so happy and shocked that they actually broke the word record.The last record was at France and it was in 2014 and their was 4028 people performing there but now their were more people performing this year and now it is the World Largest Haka.

Finally reach 300 Blogspot!!

Today I have reached 300 blogpost and I am really happy that I have got 300 and now I want to get up to 600 by the end of the year because next year I will love to leave school with 1,000 blogpost.In the weekend I blogged 20 blogpost and I was so amazed from that and now my goals id to try beat my brother Falakiko and get more then him.I Believe myself that I can reach 600 by the end of the year.So I will never give up blogging.I am so amazed on reaching 300 and I will be so so excited when I reach 1,000 Blogpost.Thank you for reading!!!.

Kiwisport Reflection(Last Session)

WALT:Communicate with our group when we are playing basketball

Today was our last session of basketball.And the games we played was Golden Child and Numbers.It was a really fun game because my team always win and just lose 1.The challenges I had playing Golden Child was shooting the ball because when we always play and we are the team that is shooting I always miss because I kept on laughing.But then I got use to it and got 2 goals in.When we were running I got past the line 4 time and I really enjoyed it.The best part of the lesson was communicating with my group and sharing the ball to the people that I don´t hang around with that much.What I didn't like that much about kiwisport was always topping on golden child but I still liked it because it was funny.I didn't like when some of the other team kept on elbowing me but it was from accidents so I was fine with it.My thoughts and feeling about kiwisports was boring because this was the last session.My thoughts about Kiwi Sports was that Basketball is a really great sport.And basketball can help people concentrate on the ball they dribble fast.

Why is fitness important? Fitness is important for people because it can help them run and stay healthy because if we didn't do these things we will be staying unhealthy and we will have way too many fat because we are not eating healthy food we are eating junk food.Fitness is important because you can be good at sports and when you bbe fit it means that you're being healthy and your staying smart.

Healthy is really important too because it can help people with their lives and it can give us more energy to run to play and to be Healthy.This is really important because people can have a better life and they can have a growth mindset between their learnings or sport.Fitness is like Exercising,Sport,Gym,Running,Never Give Up.
