Kiwisport (Flag Football)

WALT: Reflect on what we did at Flag football.

Today we had Flag football, When we got there we had warm ups. First we had to get in a circle and we did fast feet, after doing fast feet we had to practice our football passes. After practicing our passes we go into a game our game. The game we played similar to American football but we just had to touch them if they get caught.

First we did 3v3 because we played in the hall, we played in the hall because it started to rain outside. On the first round my team and the other team didn't score but then when my group jumped in we started to get scores, so the score was 2 all. If we had more meters I think we would of got more scores. 

What I found challenging was trying get into bigger space because the hall  was a bit small to play in. Another challenge that was hard for me was doing the peace tuck because when I catch I always forget to make a peace sign when I catch the ball.

Te Tuhi Reflection

Kia orana,Kia ora,Talofa Lava and greetings to you all

Welcome to my blog😁😁

Today we Group 1 went Te Tuhi. Te Tuhi is a place that is known for Art Galleries and more and it is located at Pakuranga. Today we got to paint a very fun Art called Abstract art. Abstract Art is what my class has been learning about and Abstract art is a art that does not need to look realistic. Another definition of Abstract is that it uses Shape,Colours,Texture and affect. What I think is a way to make abstract is tearing stuff apart

We got to use different type of tools to trace on our paper. What I chose was a controller because I loved playing games like Fortnite and a TV because I always watch rugby on SKY TV. We had to use 4 colours and my 4 colours was Red,Yellow,Blue and White. Here is a Unfinished work of mine.→→→

After doing our Abstract art we went into this Art place and what we saw was Yellow,Red,Blue and symbols, when I walked in, and straight into my head I was thinking that it's a Tongan design. The man that created this Tongan art was Benjamin Work. So on the Top left represents the stars on the Tongan coat of arms and the top left represents the crown the bottom left represents the dove on the Tongan coat of arms and the bottom left represent the 3 knives.

How I think that technologies plays a role in abstract is by using Canvas,Paintbrush and more.

What is Technology (Reflection)

WALA: Our Technological World.

Key Question: How does technology affect us??

So what we did first was we had to name 2 Technology you use everyday. The 2 

technology I use everyday is PS4 and Microwave.

 A definition of both of these Object is that Microwave Warm up your food and a PS4 lets you play games for e.g A game Fortnite.

What I didn't know about Technologies is that they are not all electricity because Spoons,Knives,Fork is a technology but it has no electricity. 

Technology is so useful and it makes life's easy.

 So Technology is a Useful purpose. 

There are lots of Technology Electricity like Cellphones,PS4,XBOX 1,Microwave, T.V. 

What I found challenging was coming up with different Technology resources because others had the same Technology answer as mine.

How I can improve what I found challenging is going to my house and looking around on what kind of Technologies I have at my house that noone has said. Today's lesson was very fun and it was good to know because I didn't know that much about our new topic of Technology.

Holiday Reflection

Kia ora, Malo e Lelei,Talofa lava, Fakalofa lahi atu and greetings to you all.

Welcome to my first term 4 blog.

WALT: Reflect on what we did in the Holidays.

On the first weeks I had to go work with my dad and the work he works at is Roofcare and I hated it because it was so sunny and we had to work outside and it was just steaming hot. But I just liked the food we had at work because we always had chicken and chips. On friday I only got paid $300 because i'm a child but I was pretty jealous because the others had $500 but I was thankful on what I have because that is a lot of money for my age.

.
On the Second week I had a BBQ with my family and it was just amazing. We had a BBQ because my family from overseas and my cousins came from Dunedin so we had heaps of people at my house.
I really liked the second week of the holidays because I played Fortnite with Demetrius and Toma and some other friends. While I was playing Fortnite I started to play random fills on Playground because everyone left I was lonely.


 What I found challenging on Fortnite was trying over build Toma because he is a game freak. On Saturday last week me and my cousin went to a outreach and it was fun, the outreach was around G.I(Glen Innes) What we did was we had to rap about GOD,Invite them to a church concert and others were preaching how GOD saved them from Bad stuff.



So my 3 Highlights of the  Holiday was..

1. Getting $300 and spending it on my family
2. Playing Fortnite 24/7
3. Going to a outreach.

Duffy Assembly (Reflection)

IALT: reflect about our Duffy Assembly.

Today we had a special duffy assembly. We had a visitor that had came from South Auckland illustrator. He is a well known person for making comic books and he is well known as a professional wrestler in New Zealand.

 He was a very special guest and his name was Michael Mulipola. He was a very funny guy and he has versed a professional WWE wrestler called AJ Style.

 AJ Style is a very good professional player at the moment he is the WWE heavyweight Champion after he defeated Samoa Joe. When Michael Mulipola was young he love reading comic books and he love drawing too.

What I have learned from is just to always follow your dream just like him when he was young he always wanted to be a great comic book writer and a wrestler.

Poetry (Reflection)

WALT:Reflect on what we did with my Poem.

Last week we had to record our poem we did last week, and my poem was about floods. What I needed in my poem was  figurative language like Similes, Metaphors, Onomatopoeia and more like Alliteration. We had to put Punctuation in my poem because when the audience read it they will read it fast so we it is important to use Punctuation.

Pepeha (Reflection)

WALT: Reflect on what we did with our pepeha.

Yesterday Kia Manawanui had to make a DLO and create our Pepeha.  For our Pepeha we talked about our tribe and more like what's our parents name and heaps more but it would show in the video. I hope you guys enjoy my screencastify and my DLO I have made for you guys.
