What is Technology (Reflection)

WALA: Our Technological World.

Key Question: How does technology affect us??

So what we did first was we had to name 2 Technology you use everyday. The 2 

technology I use everyday is PS4 and Microwave.

 A definition of both of these Object is that Microwave Warm up your food and a PS4 lets you play games for e.g A game Fortnite.

What I didn't know about Technologies is that they are not all electricity because Spoons,Knives,Fork is a technology but it has no electricity. 

Technology is so useful and it makes life's easy.

 So Technology is a Useful purpose. 

There are lots of Technology Electricity like Cellphones,PS4,XBOX 1,Microwave, T.V. 

What I found challenging was coming up with different Technology resources because others had the same Technology answer as mine.

How I can improve what I found challenging is going to my house and looking around on what kind of Technologies I have at my house that noone has said. Today's lesson was very fun and it was good to know because I didn't know that much about our new topic of Technology.

Inquiry Reflection ( Natural Disaster)

WALT: Research about natural disasters.

On the last block we have been working on our Inquiry which is about Natural Disasters. So we all had to do a question about Natural Disasters and my question was why does Natural Disasters occur??. 

So I have been researching and still haven't got a answer. The reason why I did Why Natural Disasters occur is because I don't know that much about it and I just want explore more fun facts about Natural Disasters. 

I have learned that Landslides is a Cliff,Mountain,Rock that can fall down and get you injured. Landslides are very dangerous it can also cause death. A definition that I have made with my group in our own words was a Landslide is a large amount of rock that collapses from a mountain or a cliff

Today my teacher asked Me Vuni and Lj to make a Google Drawing and we had to talk about the benefits of a Plank Hold.This is for our Night Market we are having at our school. And  the group I am in is fitness and I have choosed fitness because I love doing excercise expecially Plank hold because it can help me with my Abs and it is so hard.My highest record for doing a plank 4.48 seconds. Tioni and Jorjah - Pamplet

Why is Spiritual important to me?

IALA:Why is spiritual Health Important

Why is Spiritual Health important to you?Spiritual is important to me because I love reading the gospel and I love going church with my family on sundays.The church I go to is St Patrick's Panmure.I really love that church because I have already have Holy Communion and Confirmation.

If you dont know those 2 things it is when you are allowed to drink the Blood of god and eat the Body of Christ but it not real blood and body it is blessed Wine and Blessed Bread but the bread is not the same and the Crackers and Soft bread.And Spiritual Health is important to me because I like response psalm at church because it really helps me with my learning about god.

Matariki Slideshow Reflection

Today I have made a slideshow about our Matariki Tree Planting.At Tree planting I really enjoyed it because there was this Supervisor or teacher called Tamati.He helped us to hold the Spade probably and how to dug a whole.When me and my group was digging the whole it felt like we are respecting papatuanuku and making her feel more better with more trees.Tamati said that in a few years the trees we planted will be way taller and bigger than you.The most thing I love was communicating with my group and making my group proud.When I finished putting the tree in it and we dig it back I love the prayer we were saying because it does relate to Papatuanuku.Here is my Slideshow that I made out of Wevideo.

This is a rap about Matariki

A cluster of stars shining over Auckland city

It comes in either late may or june

Shining bright in the night just like a full moon

For many of the Maori it’s a new year

Light shining from the sky like a chandelier

Helping the crops grow for the people

Planting them is pretty easy and simple

They are way past mercury and mars

Metui is gonna tell you what they are

In Matariki there are seven of the stars

Shining brighter in the sky like lights from a car

It may be winter but we still celebrate

Waiting for the stars we just can not wait

Having a feast with so much to eat
