Meat Pie (Technology Reflection)

WALT:Reflect on what we did at cooking.

Yesterday the 5th of july kia manawanui had Technology and some people stayed to put up our beautiful work up on the wall for our ako evening. We were 20 minute late to technology because we were so busy working on our ako evening. What we made was meat pie for cooking. Our ingredients we had was Onion, Mince, Water, Flour, Herbs, Spices, Soya sauce and Pastry. 


So had to dice the onion and put it into the frying pan and fry it until it is soft after the onion is soft we had to add the mince and break it up into small pieces. Then we put 1/2 a cup of water into the mince and onion and it just looked disgusting. 

Then Miss tuipulotu mixed Spices,Herbs,Soya sauce and then when she put it into our frying man and she said mix it until its is smooth. We had to on or oven up to 180 celsius. After that we added the all the ingredients and put it into our pastry and leave it for 20 minutes.

Technology Reflection

WALT:Reflect about what we did at technology.

At technology

we had a new student called George we let him in our group so he can cook with us.What we made today was called Potato Salad with Chicken Kebab.The ingredients was Carrot,Potato,1 Egg and Uncooked Chicken.So our first step was Cutting the chicken in medium bits and we used a Food Grader to chop our carrot.The most thing I enjoyed was working with George and making a chicken kebab.The people I was working with was

It was fun with them and making Potato Salad and Kebab.What me and my 2 buddy's were struggling on was cutting the Chicken because it was so slimy and sticky.
