Auckland’s fuel shortage

Today I was reading a Article about the Planes Petrol. Several petrol stations in Auckland have been hit by fuel shortages as problems caused by damage to a pipeline in Auckland spread. Energy confirmed that 13 service stations had run out of 95 octane petrol.
The firm said fuel was being trucked into the city and it did not expect the problem to worsen.

Fuel supplies to cars and planes in Auckland have been disrupted after the pipeline burst last week.It was damaged by a digger on a rural property and its operator, Refinery NZ, said on Monday repairs could take at least a week.

Glen Eden School Breaks Record

IALA:To write something that relate to what I was reading.

Today  I was reading Glen Eden Schools breaks record and it was great news to hear because having to break the record is amazing thats mean working together and having teamwork as well.On Friday, 1799 kids, parents and teachers broke the Guinness World Record for the largest human image of a bicycle. If that was my school I'll be very happy that we break the world record. What  I like is that they Broke the world record and that They were also joined by other students and teachers from Konini Primary, Oratia Primary and Kaurilands Primary.
They stayed in the bike formation for five minutes.  The ‘bike’ was captured by a drone camera and documented by a Guinness World Records project manager.  The previous record was held at Kenilworth School in England where 1148 people got on board

New Zealand Funniest looking weird Foot Path.

IALT:Reflect about the weirdest New Zealand Footpath.

Today I was reading about New Zealand’s weirdest footpath?.And that it great to hear that New Zealand’s weirdest footpath? is big for people to walk on or having a run and family time like walking together home.
What I don't like it that it might get broken by people throwing thing and smashing it.

Here is what the New Zealand’s weirdest footpath? that have planed to do it.
This is what they said it’s a case of 10 steps forward and one step sideways for Tauranga City Council’s new footpath design. The crooked pathway features in The Lakes development in Pyes Pa. People have labelled the kinky footpath on Te Ranga Memorial Drive as ridiculous, but council defended the design, calling it flexible. Tauranga asset delivery manager Howard Severinsen defended the design.

Ferns beat England in netball decider

IALT:Reflect on what I was reading on Newshub.
Image result for silver fernsToday I was reading a article about the Silver Ferns Beating England. The Silver Ferns have beaten England in their netball series, 2-1, after taking the third and deciding test in Hamilton. In a pulsating match, the Ferns prevailed 62-55 to claim the Taini Jamison Trophy. The win avenges Sunday’s 3-point loss to England in Napier and prevents the England side from achieving their first ever series win over New Zealand.
Led by shooters Maria Tutaia and Bailey Mes, the Silver Ferns put on a late scoring surge to snatch the game by seven goals after going goal for goal with the Roses for much of the final quarter. In a game where the lead swung from side to side, it was the Silver Ferns who edged ahead early in the third quarter, turning their four-goal deficit into a one-point 44-43 lead.
And a late burst of scoring from Maria Tutaia and player of the match Bailey Mes in the final three minutes prevented England from grabbing their first-ever series win over New Zealand as the Ferns closed the game out 62-55.

Jaffa Run in Dunedin

IALA:Jaffa Run in Dunedin

On Saturday in Dunedin the annual Cadbury Jaffa Race was held.

The crowd was a little less than usual but the race still raised $73,000 for local charities.  The event was the first since it was confirmed the Cadbury factory in Dunedin would close early next year, putting hundreds of people out of work.

It also had to be postponed from its usual July date because of bad weather that caused flooding in Otago.  This year there were three Cadbury Jaffa Races with up to 25,000 Cadbury Jaffas in each race.

Black Ferns into World Cup final

IALT:Reflect on what happened to the Black Ferns

Today I was reading an article about Black Ferns going to the world cup and I really enjoyed them beating Canada.

Coach Glenn Moore  said while it was satisfying to reach the final they made too many errors around the breakdown and coughed up possession too often on their way to their 45-12 win.

I was really shocked that the black ferns actually made it in to the RWC and did you know that the Winger Portia Woodman scored four tries in the match and is the tournament’s leading try scorer on 13.

Woodman said there was a noticeable increase in intensity being a semi final and the Americans physicality never let up.I really enjoyed reading about this article.

Mother of suicide victim slams Government prevention plan as 'spineless'

IALT:Read this article and explain it on my own words.
Today I was on Newshub and I saw this scary and sad news about Moms Suicide. Victim slams Government prevention plan as 'spineless' and it was not great news because there are lots of death  and the amongst is 184.95 what I don't like is that there are 184.95 that have past away and that bad feeling.

And  seven years ago, Patrice Harris's son Brad had turned up at Dunedin Hospital for emergency department and told them he was planning to take his own life.  He was sent home and two days later, he was dead.   Her son's suicide inspired Ms Harrex to become a mental health worker and today, she delivered a Public Service Associations submission on the Government's Suicide Prevention Strategy.  And she called it spineless.

Teenage girl falls out of fairground ride but survives 25 feet.

IALT:Explain the article in my own words.
Today I was so terrified because a 14-year-old girl slipped off from her  seat on a gondola ride at a US theme park has had a lucky break after patrons quickly banded together to create a human cushion for her to land on.The unbelievable moment took place on Saturday night while she was on the Sky Ride at Six Flags Amusement Park in New York.
She was so lucky that there was heaps of mens that catched her when she slipped I was so amazed about what the mens did for her because if there was no one there she would of died because it was 25 foot tall or she would of broke her bones. She is so lucky that she got catched from mens and that is good for what the mens have done.
