Auckland’s fuel shortage

Today I was reading a Article about the Planes Petrol. Several petrol stations in Auckland have been hit by fuel shortages as problems caused by damage to a pipeline in Auckland spread. Energy confirmed that 13 service stations had run out of 95 octane petrol.
The firm said fuel was being trucked into the city and it did not expect the problem to worsen.

Fuel supplies to cars and planes in Auckland have been disrupted after the pipeline burst last week.It was damaged by a digger on a rural property and its operator, Refinery NZ, said on Monday repairs could take at least a week.

Butter hits record price in New Zealand

IALT:Reflect on what I was reading

New Zealand food prices rose in August, with fruit and vegetables, meat, and groceries such as butter more expensive than a year earlier. In particular butter prices hit a record high of $5.39 per block.
This is up 11 per cent in the month and 62 per cent from a year earlier. The study of prices was carried out as part of the consumer price index which monitors the price of goods in New Zealand.

5kg of coins removed from a sea turtle.

IALT:Reflect on what happen to the turtle

Today I was reading a article about a turtle having 5 kg of coin in him.Thai vets have found 5 kg of coins inside a turtle. The green sea turtle had been living at a conservation centre in Sriracha, Chonburi, east of the Thai capital of Bangkok. The turtle had eaten the 900 coins after they were thrown into her enclosure for good luck. The coins and other objects were removed from the turtle named Omsin, which means piggy bank in Thai. The coins weighed 5kg with the turtle itself weighing 59kg.I am learning how to write something that I can understand and what my reader knows about.

Glen Eden School Breaks Record

IALA:To write something that relate to what I was reading.

Today  I was reading Glen Eden Schools breaks record and it was great news to hear because having to break the record is amazing thats mean working together and having teamwork as well.On Friday, 1799 kids, parents and teachers broke the Guinness World Record for the largest human image of a bicycle. If that was my school I'll be very happy that we break the world record. What  I like is that they Broke the world record and that They were also joined by other students and teachers from Konini Primary, Oratia Primary and Kaurilands Primary.
They stayed in the bike formation for five minutes.  The ‘bike’ was captured by a drone camera and documented by a Guinness World Records project manager.  The previous record was held at Kenilworth School in England where 1148 people got on board

World Largest family.

Today I was reading a article about The World's largest Family Reunion on Kiwi kids News and There is more than 500 in china that what has believed about the largest family photo and also family too it said that The Ren family were reunited at a gathering in Shishe village in the eastern province of Zhejiang.

Also the family roots was back in 851 year more than 500 members of the Ren family, The scary thing is that the family has started updating the family records and managed to track down some 2,000 living descendants.

Leave a comment thank you.

New Zealand Funniest looking weird Foot Path.

IALT:Reflect about the weirdest New Zealand Footpath.

Today I was reading about New Zealand’s weirdest footpath?.And that it great to hear that New Zealand’s weirdest footpath? is big for people to walk on or having a run and family time like walking together home.
What I don't like it that it might get broken by people throwing thing and smashing it.

Here is what the New Zealand’s weirdest footpath? that have planed to do it.
This is what they said it’s a case of 10 steps forward and one step sideways for Tauranga City Council’s new footpath design. The crooked pathway features in The Lakes development in Pyes Pa. People have labelled the kinky footpath on Te Ranga Memorial Drive as ridiculous, but council defended the design, calling it flexible. Tauranga asset delivery manager Howard Severinsen defended the design.

Ferns beat England in netball decider

IALT:Reflect on what I was reading on Newshub.
Image result for silver fernsToday I was reading a article about the Silver Ferns Beating England. The Silver Ferns have beaten England in their netball series, 2-1, after taking the third and deciding test in Hamilton. In a pulsating match, the Ferns prevailed 62-55 to claim the Taini Jamison Trophy. The win avenges Sunday’s 3-point loss to England in Napier and prevents the England side from achieving their first ever series win over New Zealand.
Led by shooters Maria Tutaia and Bailey Mes, the Silver Ferns put on a late scoring surge to snatch the game by seven goals after going goal for goal with the Roses for much of the final quarter. In a game where the lead swung from side to side, it was the Silver Ferns who edged ahead early in the third quarter, turning their four-goal deficit into a one-point 44-43 lead.
And a late burst of scoring from Maria Tutaia and player of the match Bailey Mes in the final three minutes prevented England from grabbing their first-ever series win over New Zealand as the Ferns closed the game out 62-55.
