Kiwi Can Reflection

Today we had writing and the people that was in my group was VUNI,MONITA,GEORGE,MATTHEW,WILLOW,DEMETRIUS,
ME.So it was about whanaungatanga which means Building Positive Relationship that is one of our school Values. And we haven't finished but this is was I and my group have wrote so far.
Title
This will start with HOW... or WHY...
Positive relationships In school.
Introduction
What are you going to explain?  How will you hook the reader in?

Paragraph One
What is your first statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)
Building Confidence.
We can build confidence by programmes such as Kiwi Can/Sport,and performances like FiaFia Night and Christmas in the park. Also when we talk in front of assembly and class we talk with confidence and pride so people can hear us clearly.
We build confidence by practising your confidence in front of your family at home.We also can build it by thinking positive and don't think about what others think of you when you try to be confident.
By showing that we can build it by having the ability to successfully do something well to boost your confidence.
Paragraph Two
What is your second statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)
Building relationships with teachers.
We can build relationships with teachers by learning new things with others. We can get more key ideas from what we have been talking about. We can build relationship with teachers by listening to what the teacher is saying and trying to get more ideas of what the person is talking about. We can also show whanaungatanga with teachers by learning what we have heard about with a group.
Building relationships with teachers is by playing a game that everyone can play including a teacher because we want to build more relationship with others and teachers.
Paragraph Three
What is your third statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)
Encourage.

School is a encouraging place for whanaungatanga.
Encouraging other to follow the values or the school rules. This when you help each other to follow the school values or the school rules. For example when a person is bullying a different person that is when you go and tell them about them about the school rules or the school values. And a different example is when some people are fighting that is when you go and tell them the school rules and the school values.

Rugby Tournament!!

On wednesday we had a Rugby Tournament and we had only 4 games. The girls had Rippa Rugby/Tag.There was a Year 7 & 8 Girls Rippa and a Year 5 & 6 Rippa Rugby Team. The last team which came 1st for Rugby was Year 7 & 8 Rugby Team. The teams we competed was Glen Innes School,Glenbrae School,Glen Taylor and last was Panmure Bridge School. So all the schools we competed mostly had Glen in there school but only one of the school did not have Glen.We won all of our games by nial but only Glenbrae School that scored only 1 try against our team so our hardest game to defend was Glenbrae because they had hard runner like this boy called Inoke,Miami and George. They were like a bulldozer but we still managed to get through there team and win the game.We had a game but it was a bye and then we watch other people is games and then I decided to watch my friend is game called Inoke and then he got injured then all the Tamaki boys ran and helped him but the ref said carry on we supported him and now he feeling better because he had a massive Cramp with Gary. I was Number 6 six for the game. Our best game was against Panmure bridge because we won against them 55-0.

Auckland’s fuel shortage

Today I was reading a Article about the Planes Petrol. Several petrol stations in Auckland have been hit by fuel shortages as problems caused by damage to a pipeline in Auckland spread. Energy confirmed that 13 service stations had run out of 95 octane petrol.
The firm said fuel was being trucked into the city and it did not expect the problem to worsen.

Fuel supplies to cars and planes in Auckland have been disrupted after the pipeline burst last week.It was damaged by a digger on a rural property and its operator, Refinery NZ, said on Monday repairs could take at least a week.

Butter hits record price in New Zealand

IALT:Reflect on what I was reading

New Zealand food prices rose in August, with fruit and vegetables, meat, and groceries such as butter more expensive than a year earlier. In particular butter prices hit a record high of $5.39 per block.
This is up 11 per cent in the month and 62 per cent from a year earlier. The study of prices was carried out as part of the consumer price index which monitors the price of goods in New Zealand.

5kg of coins removed from a sea turtle.

IALT:Reflect on what happen to the turtle

Today I was reading a article about a turtle having 5 kg of coin in him.Thai vets have found 5 kg of coins inside a turtle. The green sea turtle had been living at a conservation centre in Sriracha, Chonburi, east of the Thai capital of Bangkok. The turtle had eaten the 900 coins after they were thrown into her enclosure for good luck. The coins and other objects were removed from the turtle named Omsin, which means piggy bank in Thai. The coins weighed 5kg with the turtle itself weighing 59kg.I am learning how to write something that I can understand and what my reader knows about.

Man trapped upside down for 13 hours

IALT:Reflect On what happen the man.

Today I was reading something like a Man trapped upside down for 13 hours. If I was him I won't be able to stay there that long because my head could get thing like when my blood all goes to my head and that won't be good for me and that person who doing the upside down for 13 hours.

What I don't like is that he could get blood pressure. And A man in the US tried to break into his own home, but was left trapped and hanging upside-down for 13 hours in his own basement.

Glen Eden School Breaks Record

IALA:To write something that relate to what I was reading.

Today  I was reading Glen Eden Schools breaks record and it was great news to hear because having to break the record is amazing thats mean working together and having teamwork as well.On Friday, 1799 kids, parents and teachers broke the Guinness World Record for the largest human image of a bicycle. If that was my school I'll be very happy that we break the world record. What  I like is that they Broke the world record and that They were also joined by other students and teachers from Konini Primary, Oratia Primary and Kaurilands Primary.
They stayed in the bike formation for five minutes.  The ‘bike’ was captured by a drone camera and documented by a Guinness World Records project manager.  The previous record was held at Kenilworth School in England where 1148 people got on board

World Largest family.

Today I was reading a article about The World's largest Family Reunion on Kiwi kids News and There is more than 500 in china that what has believed about the largest family photo and also family too it said that The Ren family were reunited at a gathering in Shishe village in the eastern province of Zhejiang.

Also the family roots was back in 851 year more than 500 members of the Ren family, The scary thing is that the family has started updating the family records and managed to track down some 2,000 living descendants.

Leave a comment thank you.

New Zealand Funniest looking weird Foot Path.

IALT:Reflect about the weirdest New Zealand Footpath.

Today I was reading about New Zealand’s weirdest footpath?.And that it great to hear that New Zealand’s weirdest footpath? is big for people to walk on or having a run and family time like walking together home.
What I don't like it that it might get broken by people throwing thing and smashing it.

Here is what the New Zealand’s weirdest footpath? that have planed to do it.
This is what they said it’s a case of 10 steps forward and one step sideways for Tauranga City Council’s new footpath design. The crooked pathway features in The Lakes development in Pyes Pa. People have labelled the kinky footpath on Te Ranga Memorial Drive as ridiculous, but council defended the design, calling it flexible. Tauranga asset delivery manager Howard Severinsen defended the design.
