In Room 9 we are trialling students lead learning in which we get to make our own choices about what tasks we complete on what day. This is the first week we have tried this. We will see how we go.????!

T	First On the 17th of august in a bright shiny sunny In the middle block of school the whole kia maia went to the hall so then we had a peaceful play in the hall with rm 7,8,9.s I felt very nervous that we were about to have assembly but suddenly Mr minton said that we are going to play a sport
R	Then Mr Minton said we are going to play gang ganga mo so then we played it different. I felt very bored that it took for long to explained then i felt very excited because it look very beast for me.
E	Finally we had to put our chair back and then we played a relay game. It was very brilliant and funny that me and Kenneth came last. And we came second to last at racing with the balloon.I felt very excited by trying winning.
	After that we all got chocolates and then we all had to sit in the mat and then Mr Minton said that we were brilliant yesterday I felt very surprised he said that.                                                 THE END

I walk home slowly after a long day at school.  The sun is shining down on me.  I can hear my mum saying “Malo, Pesita!  Fefe hake?”  I nod my head and smile, showing her that my day was good.

I get into the fale and I put down my school bag.  Then I go and clean the nice fresh smell of the dishes then I go out side and get some nice yummy sweet sugar cane then I go and put the sugar cane inside then I go get some fresh cold water.

Then I go and get some nice juicy niu then crack the big outside skin then I opened the niu and eat it, it was very nice.

Then I went and got some itchy sticks from the dark scary woods. Then I went and did the cooking I made some cary and rice the cary was very chilly that my face went red so I ate my mom's rice finish then I ate my own rice and then my face was cooling down.
